I chose Vdara Hotel & Spa because it has no casino inside the hotel, and the room is spacious with comtempary design. I found it during my stay, the hotel is exactly what I wanted, quiet, classy, smoke free and eco friendly. The most of all is, it is located at the city centre, very easy to get around. As part of the CityCenter community, Vdara Hotel opened its doors on December 1, 2009. This non-gaming and non-smoking environment is a combination all-suites hotel and residential building. This 57-story tower offers modern sophisticated Deluxe, Vdara, City and Panoramic Suites; 1- and 2-bedroom Penthouses; 2-Story 1- and 2-bedroom Penthouses. Although this is a non-gaming property, guests can enjoy the casino experience at neighboring hotels, Aria and Bellagio.

Located within the CityCenter complex, Vdara Hotel and Spa, also known as Vdara, is one of three sleek hotels at City Center.

The Hotel

Vdara is the resort with no casino or flashing lights. In fact, the resort is more of appeling to a more mature crowd.

The non-smoking boutique property will take you away from the glitz and glamor of Vegas, while keeping you close enough to all the action at the same time. At Vdara you will find several pieces of fine art throughout the property.

This includes “Damascus Gate Variation I” from Frank Stella at the reception desk; and “Day for Night, Night for Day” by Peter Wegner in the concierge lobby.

Soaring 57 stories above the city, Vdara offers an exclusive environment with a blend of well-appointed, modern sophistication and elegant styling for your comfort. The tower hosts 1,495 tastefully designed suites, lofts and penthouses.

This includes the Deluxe Suites, the Vdara Suites, the City Corner Suites, the Executive Corner Suites, the Panoramic Suites, the One Bedroom and Two Bedroom Lofts, the Two Bedroom Hospitality Suites and the One Bedroom and Two Bedroom Penthouses.

The resort’s suites all have open floor plans and plenty of space for you to relax. Inside, you will find limited-edition artwork, high speed wired and wireless Internet access, and a media hub for cameras, DVD players, Mp3 players and game consoles.

Vdara’s Deluxe Suites feature fully equipped kitchens, king size beds with custom designed pillow-top mattresses, under-counter refrigerators, flat-screen televisions and large horizontal windows which offer wide views of the city and mountains. The suites’ bathrooms are large and equipped with spa-style soaking tubs.

Some suites have a living room with a pullout queen-size sofa bed, a washer and dryer, a four-burner electric cook top and microwave. The Two Bedroom Hospitality Suites feature a guest powder room, a subzero full size refrigerator, a custom wood and glass dining table and a wine refrigerator in addition to the two bedrooms with king size beds.

The Two Bedroom Penthouses feature a stainless steel refrigerator, expansive picture windows, a washer and dryer and are located on the 54, 55 and 56 floors.

You can also enjoy a one of a kind experience in the Lofts, which feature a living room with a pullout queen size sofa bed, flat screen televisions in the living and bedroom areas, a bathroom with a glass enclosed, walk in shower and complimentary roundtrip limousine transportation to and from the airport.

For some rest and relaxation, you can try one or a combination of treatments from the Spa menu. Vdara’s 16,000 square foot spa offers a wide array of traditional and body treatments and an exclusive selection of skincare services.

The two-level wellness spa also offers eleven treatment rooms, massage therapy and three relaxation lounges that are all designed to let you experience a higher level of relaxation and rejuvenation.

At the pool, you can enjoy a blissful escape. The 40,000 square foot pool and deck area has a cutting edge design and is elevated high above Harmon Circle and overlooks ARIA and the Strip. In addition to the beautiful views, you can enjoy private cabanas and handcrafted cocktails.

Located in the lobby, the market has a full service dining menu where fresh items, meats, wines, cheeses and dishes like salmon crêpe, warm goat cheese salad, Vdara signature cheeseburger, Alfredo pasta and turkey Panini are served.

You will find pastry, and coffee at Starbucks. While the Pool & Lounge Vdara Café offers traditional and fresh gourmet meals in a relaxed alfresco setting.

The Pool & Lounge Vdara Café’s menu includes items such as grilled chicken burrito, mahi mahi fish tacos, grilled shrimp farro salad, le melon sunset, organic chill, strawberry daiquiri and a variety of other cocktails, wines and spirits. You will also have the chance to enjoy mouthwatering treats in your luxurious suite with In-Suite Dining.

Handcrafted cocktails can be paired with small bites like lobster tacos, house grilled chicken wings, fresh chopped salad or homemade churros at the elegant and energetic Bar Vdara, which is Vdara’s only bar. Bar Vdara offers both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of CityCenter.

Located across from Aria Resort and Casino within the CityCenter complex, Vdara is the resort next to Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan. The resort offers well-appointed, modern suites that combine elegant styling with contemporary interior spaces and the latest amenities.

Vdara is appealing to travelers who want to experience the energy and excitement of Las Vegas, but want to enjoy an exclusive, calm and relaxing environment. While the resort provides 5 star amenities, Vdara does not have a casino or any remarkable dining options.

However, the resort’s convenient location within the CityCenter complex means you will be close to Aria with its countless restaurants, bars and lounges, and casino. The resort will also offer you easy access to all of the entertainment, gaming, shopping, dining and nightlife of CityCenter and the Strip.

Overall the resort, offers the opportunity for you to enjoy Vegas and escape from it all, at least when you want to retire for the night.
